Ok, so here are two more things that we have found out were "not ok": first thing is, some people reported the first game of the series had problems with saving-loading,
you could try this fix, I haven't tried it personally, but if it exists, maybe it works: Save/Load Fix.
Second, I found that there was a bug in the italian translation with mission 7 in Commandos DP. Please replace the bugged file with this one.

This is a confirmation of our last news post, dated almost a year ago. This site hasn't died, on the contrary, it has become even more complete!
Check for yourself: All browsing compatibility issues have been fixed, now Opera and Firefox support fully Commandos HQ!
A new tool has been added: it will allow you to extract all the files you want from the .pck packages.
Our forum has been renewed and updated. All signs that the communtiy is still alive and ready to go into battle, maybe with a new Commandos Story...

| NEW MOD FOR COMMANDOS 3

Yes, there's another mod made for Commandos 3 that is available for download! That's what we mean that our favourite games never die: Unmatched Support!
Go check it here. To read the readme file you will need a program that can open .pdf files.
The most known program for doing so is Acrobat Reader, but you can download an exellent one from our site,
it's called Foxit Reader, check it out here.

As you can well see up here, a new jukebox has been created for you to use. While navigating our site you can listen to your favourite songs extracted
from your favourite games: Commandos 2 and Commandos 3! If you want to buy the full soundtracks, try to give a look here for Commandos 2 and here for Commandos 3.
But presently they are quite hard to find just about anywhere, shame...

| UPDATES HAVE TAKEN HEAD
|
|
There has been a lot of work going on for the site lately. The sections missing are being filled as we move on. Some images are still missing but they will be added soon (they're in the making, for the taking).
So far the first Commandos Games have all the sections completed, finally I need to add (apart from some images but that's relative).
Commandos Strike Force has had a lot new entries these days, starting from the 2 new patches which you can get here along with a new No-Intro Patch made by ss786.
Then you get the cheats page full of new cheats and 2 trainers both made, once again, by ss786. The CSF Interface also has been completed, places whre to buy this game have been added, not to mention all the online reviews available in the appropriate section, plus some updates here and there.
New videos have been added in the downloads section which bring you a new Video Review of CSF made by GameTrailers.com (Check it out here).
Also added new Wallpapers and the Official Screensaver for CSF. Well, that's it for now, keep in touch for new goodies on this wonderful game series!

| NEW STUFF FOR YOU

Well then, here's what's been added:
some missing images replaced (here and there), new CSF Screenshots and Artwork, Cheats for C2:DP have been completed (finally you might say),
Adjusted and Completed the Multiplayer Tutorials (especially C2) and... added a new Bonus for DP to download! Go check it here. It's a new Rock Theme for the Main Menu, creepy but charges to the right point!

| DEMO AND NEW VIDEOS

As you all might know by now, a demo has been released for Commandos Strike Force (and probably, when you will be reading this, the game will also have been released). It allows you to experience the game from the three possible points of view and succeed in two (of the many)

| NEW TRAILER AND FIRST REVIEWS
|
There are a few reviews out there already, although you won't find any on the net yet, since only some magazines have bought the exclusive license to review it now and it's still "in the making" for almost everybody.
So far, the game has been reviewed here in Italy with an average 7.5/10.
It ain't bad but it ain't top neither, let's hope it'll be the lowest mark CSF will get.

| COMMANDOS STRIKE FORCE KILLING TECHNIQUES

Here's a new (Great in my opinion) video illustrating the killing techiques available in CSF
Check it out and don't deny that it looks pretty catchy.
By watching it I was hoping that it would show a special feature found in Sniper Elite and... it seemingly did.

| COMMANDOS STRIKE FORCE ALMOST HERE
|
More news on CSF!:
There are going to be two possible views:
1st person view and 3rd person view. In 1st person mode you will play the game while in 3rd person mode you will be allowed only to view the situation and you will not be able to do anything (remember BIA?).
Missions will be based on the collaboration between two of the three men (you will never have all three Commandos in one mission, although there will be missions where you will have only one Commando to use.
There will be also allies (like the ones in CoD 2) that will fight along with you. You will not be able to give them orders so that could turn out a bit uneasy (especially if you must prevent them from dying).

A guy named Stalinfranco has made a new mod for Commandos 2. You will find it interesting just to give it a look.
But if you actually set yourself to play it, be ready, it will be a nice challenge.

| COMMANDOS STRIKE FORCE COMING SOON
|
Commandos Strike Force has been moved to Winter 2006. That is From January to March.
This is because EIDOS decided to take in help from Quazal with the use of Net-Z technology in the multiplayer development of CSF.
Pyro developers have announced that, thanks to Quazal's support, the team managed to concentrate more on the most important part of the developing process: the gameplay.

But now, it is going to be recreated (once more) and is not going down anymore.

Commandos Strike Force has been scheduled in 2006.
That is because of the big (and possibly lethal) concurrency products that will be coming out in the Christmas period.
We don't consider that disappointing since, on the other hand, this means a better game, less bugs and maybe, time to study and implement more features.

| C3ZONE TRANSFERRED
|
C3Zone's pages have been all (finally) transferred. When downloading, you might see that the links still show to C3Zone but,
that is because those files are quite big and it has no sense to transfer them since CHQ is just the phoenix of C3Zone.
Most of the files have been updated (some patches in the files downloads section have been rechecked).
There still remain some empty pages but, those will be filled in time due.
If you find any errors or if you have any suggestions, files or (why not) critics (hopefully constructive),
don't hesitate to contact and tell us, either on the forum or by e-mail, thank you.

| COMMANDOS HQ FILING IN
|
As you might have noticed, some pages are still empty or inacessible.
That is because the transferring from C3Zone is still in progress (you won't believe HOW much work there is to do).
So I want to ask you to be a little bit patient because the wait is well worth it.
You will find (and already can!) some exclusive stuff that no other sites have,
or maybe a few have but you might never thought of their existence or they are simply hard to find.
You can also fulfill your dreams with playing Commandos BEL and BTCOD over the internet (yes, there IS a way),
of course, if those people still exist :-)

| COMMANDOS C3ZONE IS REBORN UNDER A NEW NAME: COMMANDOS HQ
|
At last here it is.
C3Zone has been repeteadly hacked and Swordfish disappeared into thin air (!).
This made the hackers (whoever they were) achieve their results, no more concurrency.
But now, C3Zone has been taken to it's feet once again and we will continue the mission
Swordfish left:
keep you informed on the Commandos games series and on Pyro's future projects.
